BROWN AND BROWNING: PENETRATION IN THE MONTH OF WALT WHITMAN’S BIRTHDAY
Marvin Gardens is pleased to present its first solo exhibition of sorts. Brown and Browning are pleased to present to you this photo of Walt:
The eight sculptures in this show were made in the month of Walt Whitman’s birth, in 2014.
Everett Brown, a Dallas native, and Rachael Browning, a Chicago native, met when they were freshmen at the Cooper Union. They began working together while sharing a studio together in a windowless basement in Bushwick. They now make work at their studio in Red Hook.
It has 17 windows.
